Of flesh and gold

So... stage crew. Why is it that when I go around asking people to join because I believe they have the proper skills, they all decide to snub me? But more importantly than that, why is it that when one person joins stage crew, suddenly many more people, usually tied to the person in some sort of relationship (including friendships) feel compelled to follow suit, not even choosing to discover what the implications of committing to stage crew are? Perhaps this is something I need to just shut up about.

Next year makes few promises. Stage crew can potentially be horrible because I'll be an idiot... or it can be fantastic and I'll actually know things. I can be a good leader or I can horribly fail at my leadership role. The people that join may be excellent co-workers or horrible, horrible people. School can coincide nicely or horribly interfere with crew. And lastly, I might lose all semblance of a social life if other people don't begin to learn things well and I am forced to work all the time.

School continues to be an odd mix of pleasantly slacker-ish and mentally draining. Perhaps that is the way it is meant to be.

Iron Kingdoms delayed; Shadowrun in the works. Hopefully fun will be had.

MBD = awesome.

So I don't update as often lately. Eh... I figure it either means I've lost all will to type things out or I'm just not as whiney anymore. We shall see.
