Ladies and gents, the buck stops here.

That introductory sentence served no purpose whatsoever, but at this time, and in this mental state, I cannot say that anything I would say makes a whole lot of sense.

What have I been up to since the last update? Lounging around at home, doing nothing for a couple of days, followed up by plans that went awry in different ways. Altogether an interesting contrast, I must say. All right, that's a lie. Mostly I'm incredibly tired.

So Evanston yesterday. The one thing that fills me with both happiness and despair is that Evanston seems like such a nice place to raise a family. For those who are past their prime and already stuck in the cesspool of child-rearing, that is a perfectly fine thing. For young folk who enjoy actually being able to do things in the evening, this is a death sentence. Another important thing: Urban Outfitters, as a store, is simultaneously depressing, horrifying and extremely worrying. In addition, never go to Noodles & Co. Starbucks is not a great place, but hazelnut frapuccinos make me forget any iniquities regarding quality. The ability to sit there without actually buying anything is enticing, as well.

Plans are difficult when circumstances get in the way, but most importantly, I got to see Damian for the first time in a long time. "Sweet."

Beyond that, I cannot really comment much on anything because I've run out of entirely banal things to expound upon.
