Let me start this entry off by saying that the new CD from The Prodigy is (for those of you who like techno music that assaults you with synth-noise) probably one of the better CDs I've heard in a while, and in terms of techno, the best I've heard in months. I would recommend it; though any of you who understand my musical tastes would probably want to check it before taking my advice. Today was my first taste of [attempts at] recording music for CD-quality audio. I would just like to say it's kind of ridiculous how bad I am at staying focused on playing, despite the fact that I've only been on bass for a short time (I like to set impossibly high goals for myself). Other than that, bass + amp = horrible times when walking through the Norridge/HIP area. My hands are in a permanent state of pain now; not only because of carrying the amp around for a few hours but also the whole "my fingers are still kind of soft so instead of callous I just tore skin after playing for a while" thing. In other news... my general plans for the day were ruined/delayed with only a few key portions remaining as they were supposed to. Some things have been pushed back to next week. In addition, I may finally have myself an iRiver H-120 tomorrow. Clearance price, as well. Beyond all that frivolous material drivel, school, my internship, the college application process and the idea of the long hours I'll have to put in for stage crew scare the hell out of me and cause me to hate the upcoming year more and more as time goes on. Still got those lonely feelings, too, but I'm sure I'll be able to cope now that I know the truth about the fairer gender in general. WTFKTHXBYE
