next week's chemical blast

Time to get my creative juices flowing... There's a point at which pushing the envelope of what is believable and what is merely ridiculous becomes one's goal. That point arrived today in the form of an AP Lang discussion. In an Aristotelian turn of events, I completely disregarded my own ideas about the poem and logically argued something completely irrelevant. Somehow, I was convinced by my own argument and this led to even more fervent defense of it. If there's one thing i thoroughly enjoy, it's a good class discussion on texts which are obscure enough that nobody has heard of them. The void that would normally be filled by preconceived notions becomes a level playing field for analytical experimentation. To conclude this line of thought, AP Lang with Mr. Hahm is probably the only place where Nietzsche, Plato, Freud and Oates will ever see all of their ideas co-mingle (I refuse to use an extra m in place of the hyphen).
The ambient melodies and sorrowful vocals of the Stills continue to fill me with an emotion I find difficult to describe. If music be food for the soul... well, then I am spending every day gorging on as many different kinds as I can. Concert-wise, the end of this month promises to be fantastic.
What's amazing is that the most profound and memorable conversations I have ever had are with two; one, not even a Northsider, though well-acquainted with the world of Northside, and the other, one that has been around since the beginning, yet I merely have begun talking to now. Vague? Grammatically incorrect? Of course! I am feeling this general detachment from everything and most people that puts me in an interesting position; namely that of a neutral third-person observer of my own recent memories. Let me tell you, folks; I am not a top performer. But I hold my own, and that is sufficient for now.
College and the internship continue to worry me, but beyond worrying I have done little. This, of course, will only result in problems.
As some among the depressingly small number of you that read this drek may have noticed, I completely lack any sort of focus in these entries. It is with that in mind that I bid you all a good night; this way, I don't risk creating a more and more convoluted path.
