A FORTUNE

The past week has been an insane rollercoaster of emotional ups and downs. It seems that all this work (both schoolwork and otherwise) completely overtook me and so the flipping-out began. The college application process is still grueling, though winding down. Stage crew work... let us just say I feel I've been spending way too much time at school, and people have not been helping me out as much. Other than that, there's only my selfish problem, which, as a result of an aforementioned thing, erupted insanely for a short time.
However, this week had two gleaming days: Wednesday, where I not only got Steel Soldiers and a KMFDM album, but I also got to see Playboy of the Western World at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre; a brilliant performance. Today, a night on the town (merely foreshadowing of the joys to be had next week, but still brilliant) with the Big Bowl (got eyed by a cute waitress, apparently), the Virgin Megastore and the Melting Pot (fun dessert for all). It is because of this that my gratefulness for the friends I have has come to the forefront at this moment. Now, the super-birthday-plan-funtime-ultrafest.
